Degree Course: BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) as per curriculum prescribed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, KARNATAKA & N.C.H. New Delhi.
Duration of Course
Total 5½ years course which includes one year compulsory internship.
Eligibility
No candidate shall be admitted to B.H.M.S Degree Course unless he has attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of his admission to the first year of the course and not older than the age of 25 years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the course. Provided that the upper age limit may be relaxed by five years to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Physically handicapped candidates.
A candidate must have passed the two year Pre-university examination conducted by department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State or any other examination recognized as equivalent with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subject.
A candidate who has passed B.Sc. Part I examination or B.Sc. Degree Examination of any university in India with Science subjects namely Chemistry, Botany and Zoology and secured not less than 40% of marks in aggregate.
College and Hostel Fees
The amount of the term fees for college and hostel will be notified at the time of Interview for the first term and at the end of each term for subsequent terms, the amount so decided should be paid within one week of commencement of each term. The fees paid are not refundable except the caution money even if the student discontinues the college or leaves the hostel before completion of his studies, or before the expiry of the term. The student has to pay the entire fees for all the terms of 4½ years if he/she discontinues.

Assessment and Examination
Monthly Tests, Tutorials, Terminal Examination/ Seminars and Preliminary examinations are held at regular intervals to assess individual student. These examinations are compulsory for all the students and Marks obtained in the above examinations are forwarded to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore as Internal Assessment marks for Annual Examination. At the end of every academic year, annual examinations are held both in theory and Practical as per the norms of RGUHS Bangalore.
